Family: Missing Teen Upset Over New School

Plymouth Township (WWJ)  -- Friends of a missing 15-year-old Plymouth Township boy said he might have left the state with an 18-year-old co-worker after learning he was about to switch schools.

Justin Wainwright was reported missing  Monday after his parents found a note he left on his bed saying he "needed a vacation" and would return soon.

An Amber Alert was issued Tuesday for Wainwright that said he was in "extreme danger" and is believed to be with his friend, Joshua Zohr of Northville.  They were last spotted in Dayton, Ohio earlier this week.

Police are looking for a red Pontiac Grand Prix, with a Michigan license of BYP-1180.  Investigators have received several tips about the duo's whereabouts, but none has panned out.
