Posted by Charlie in missing persons, Butler County Sheriff Craig Murphy, Adam Herrman

In the past four months, investigators have conducted several searches in and around the mobile home park where Adam Herrman vanished in 1999. This week, Sheriff Craig Murphy turned over the case of missing to Butler County Attorney Jan Satterfield.

Adam's adoptive parents, Doug and Valerie Herrman who never reported the child missing have hired separate defense attorneys.

Our focus is on the Herrmans right now,  he said. And I will tell you that... our focus has not switched,  said Murphy who declined to release details when he met with the press.

Watch below to listen to Craig Murphy answer what was found to suggest whether Adam is alive or dead.
