http://www.paperbackswap.com

I thought some of you might be interested in this site.  I joined a couple of years ago because I was spending a small fortune on books.  It's an online book swapping club for book lovers.   Even though it is called paperbackswap......it is for just about any kind of books.

Best thing about it.....only cost is media mail postage when you mail a book to someone.

There are also companion sites that are for CDs and DVDs.  Links to those sites are at top of paperback pages.

The link below is a demo that explains how it works.

Thanks for the link.  I love to read and have not bought a new book in years.  I like the challenge of the hunt, looking for a new one by a favorite author for less than a dollar.  Found half a dozen this past weekend.

I am finding mine at the Goodwill Store, Salvation Army Thrift Stores, flea markets and yard sales and my favorite place, our local library spring and fall book sales.

4 days of book shopping with paper backs at a quarter to 50 cents, hard backs up to $3.00 for a new one and $1.00 for others.  Odd they mark OLD books at less than the paperbacks and some are 80, 90 years old.  The further into the sale they get the books are cheaper with the last day being $4.00 a bag full.

Check your local libraries for book sales, local second hand shops, thrift shops, used book stores and  local college, ours has a very large book sale.  Great finds out there for everyone.
