Erie teen found with man, 21, expected home today

Sierra Lillie's family expects the 14-year-old to return home today.


Her family traveled to Arkansas to reunite with the Diehl Elementary School eighth-grader on Friday.

"We expect to have her home tomorrow," said Howard Lillie, Sierra's father.

Sierra, who had been missing since April 12, was found 1,055 miles away from home in Clarksville, Ark., on Thursday.

She was in the company of 21-year-old Donald Ray Cates of Lewistown, Mont. He faces charges in Montana on allegations that he forced five underage girls to have sex in 2005.

A first trial there ended in a mistrial. On March 31, the Montana Supreme Court ruled the trial could proceed.

Investigators said he and Sierra met online two years ago and forged a relationship. Her parents are unsure if Sierra knew Cates' true age or the allegations he faced.
