Catherine "Cathy" Lynn Sharbrough Powell left this life fourteen years ago today to be with God in Heaven. She was a wonderful daughter and all that a mother could ask for. I miss her and her two brothers each and every day, but especially miss her today. I know we will meet again and look forward to the glorious reunion.
Lots of love, mom

Sweet Maui (Bonnie),
My dear friend I know too well how you feel. When I was in the hospital with my late husband (Jimmy) I was given something that I have carried with me everyday of my life since then. It was a poem, I knew of this poem, but I don't beleive I ever really understood it until then. This poem has given me comfort when I have felt things were more than I could bare. I pray it does the same for you and brings you comfort and peace when you need it most. Just know you are not alone my friend. We are here for you.
Hugs,
Anna
Footprints
One night I had a dream. I was walking along
the beach with the Lord, and across the skies flashed
scenes from my life. In each scene I noticed two sets
of footprints in the sand. On was mine, and one
was the Lord's.
When the last scene of my life appeared before
me, I looked back at the footprints in the sand, and
to my surprise I noticed that many times along the
path of my life there was only one set of footprints.
And I noticed that it was at the lowest and saddest
times in my life.
I asked the Lord about it. "Lord, you said that
once I decided to follow you, you would walk with
me all the way. But I noticed that during the most
troublesome times in my life there is only one set of
footprints. I don't understand why you left my side
when I needed you most."
The Lord replied, "My precious child, I love you
and would never leave you. During your time of
Trial and suffering, where you see only one set of
footprints, I was carrying you."
